From the run down local muni to the ultra exclusive private club, slow play is the bane of every duffers existence.
Nobody likes slow golfers.
Slow play has been the talk of the PGA TOUR for well, ever, but even more so this last season and PUMA Golf has gotten into the conversation but releasing a line of “Slow Play” polos that have been debuted this week at Tiger’s Hero World Challenge down in the Bahamas:
Officially it’s the “Salt Water” collection but the meaning behind the turtle can’t be mistaken. And while Gary Woodland and Rickie Fowler have happily rocked the turtle down in the Caribbean, The Professor Bryson DeChambeau, who has been at the heart of the slow play debate lately, choose to only wear the turtle-free polo.
Me thinks the additional 20 pounds of muscle ol’ Bryson packed on this off-season may have replaced his sense of humor.
Oh yeah, he never had one in the first place.
Meanwhile in the actual tournament, Patrick Reed is in top form trying to impress Tiger. Woodland is not far behind and even Tiger himself is in the mix. It’s a good look as the US readies itself for the vaunted President’s Cup Down Under. Just don’t expect to see The Professor with any turtles.
