There is a scary story going around about some bullshit called the “MoMo Challenge”.
I don’t what the point of this is, but apparently it’s leading to- or not actually leading to, but people think it’s leading to- children harming themselves.
Truth be told, I tried reading about what this even is, or does, but I couldn’t follow it…and I’ll be honest, I don’t give a shit.
As we’ve told you here before and has been proven correct once again:
EVERYTHING CALLED A “CHALLENGE” IS STUPID AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH.
Kiki. Tide Pods. Eating Condoms. Invisible Box….it’s all shit to keep idiots (and Darwin) busy.
So, please, if you haven’t yet, please tell your kids that. And be blunt. Tell exactly what I said. ALL CHALLENGES ARE FOR IDIOTS. IF YOU TAKE PART IN ANYTHING CALLED A CHALLENGE, YOU’LL BE AN IDIOT. IF ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS ARE DOING IT, THEY ARE IDIOTS, AND THEY PROBABLY HAVE IDIOTS FOR PARENTS, AND YOU SHOULDN’T BE FRIENDS WITH IDIOTS ANYWAY.
The “MoMo Challenge” is extra idiotic, because it combines “Challenges” and fake outrage. If you do 5 seconds of research you can find out that this is a game, and can only be initiated by the user. There is no boogeyman…er, boogeyperson.
I’m not trying to downplay the internet, and phones, and messaging being potentially dangerous to kids. It’s scary shit. There are dangerous things out there. But bottom line is, something like this dumbass game doesn’t need to be one of them.
