The Smart move has been made by the Boston Celtics:
Marcus Smart is the pumping heart of this team. He’s the engine. The soul and whatever other cliche is out there for the guy that just gets it. The guy that rallies the troops when things look grim but never says quit and never lets anyone else quit. Ever.
The Boston Celtics are a no quit team.
This deal needed to be done and it got done. It’s slightly more than the original offer so it’s win-win all around.
