The NY Yankees slugger Aaron Judge made some impressive Major League Baseball history in yesterday’s doubleheader against the Detroit Rock City Tigers.
Judge whiffed eight times in nine at bats over the two games including going 0-5 with 5 K’s in the late game.
That’s commitment folks!
Judge may be the reigning AL Rookie of the Year but he also led the league in strikeouts so he’s no stranger to the long walk of shame back to the dugout.
For the Lil’ Dogg the jury is still out on Judge (😏🤷🏻♂️). Sure he’s tied for sixth in ding dongs so far this year but he’s also batting a very cool .276 and those strikeouts are no joke. Last night Judge had a runner on in the ninth when he whiffed. You gotta be able to put the ball in play in those situations. Sure the occasional ninth inning bomb makes for a great highlight but baseball is a day in, day out game. If you can’t get a bat on the ball and make the defense make a play, you’re just not helping your team.
Chicks may dig the long ball but they also get bored quickly with a guy that can’t get their wood in on the action if you know what I’m saying.
For this Judge, the Lil’ Dogg declares a mistrial.
