New Feature Alert – The Worst Meme Attempts from Last Night in Sport

The struggle to go VIRAL is real folks. And the major players in the Sport Media world are trying extra extra extra hard to catch the proverbial lightning in a bottle with the best original meme that will take their brand to social media success.

Unfortunately not all memes are created equal. In fact the Lil’ Dogg calculates that 99.9% are absolute trash or in meme speak:

Presenting the Worst Meme Attempts from Last Night

(Memes will be rated on a scale of 💩 to 💩💩💩💩💩)

Slam Magazine

Rating – 💩💩💩💩 Bad Boys the movie was famously set in Miami. The Rockets play in Houston. Neither Chris Paul nor James Harden is a “bad boy” in any sense of the term. And the whole thing is topped off with a D – level photoshop job. Epic Fail by Slam here folks.

ESPN

Rating – 💩💩 ESPN loves a good pun and the visual/word pun is the highest form of pun but facts is facts and the fact is you ain’t going viral with bowling unless it involves a bowling ball to the nards.

CBS

Rating – 💩💩💩💩💩 It’s really cute when the old fuddy duddy networks try to get in on the “me me” game. Here we have CBS attempting to troll TNT and ESPN. The wrestling gif is a go-to for newbies and veterans alike but this one’s a little confusing. If they are happy that the game is close that means they are watching, right? A sarcastic clap gif would have been the right call here IMHO.

There you have it folks. The worst of the worst or maybe the best of the worst either way, these Social Media Managers took a swing and missed but hey at least they stepped up to the plate:
