🚨 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

The Valspar Championship… Innisbrook Copperhead Course, Palm Harbor, FL, March 8-11 2018

Those details are relevant so that later on you can remember where and when it was that the natural order of things was restored.

After yesterday’s 4 under 67, Eldrick “Tiger” Woods is 1 shot off the lead heading into the final round. That 67 is his lowest round since returning from his latest surgery and it was the first time he had back to back rounds in the 60’s since 2015. This info from ESPN should tell you everything you need to know about how Tiger is feeling:

Tiger Woods’ swing speed registered at 129.2 mph Saturday, the highest of any player in the field this week

Nearly 130MPH! Benny thinks the spine is all fused.

Canadian Corey Conners has the 54 hole lead at -9. Brandt Snedecker (best name in Golf to hear announced off the tee at the British Open), and former US Open champion Justin Rose (top 10 finishes in 11 of his last 13 starts) are also at -8. And if you wanted an out of the box pick from ur boy Benny to make a charge, go with Louis Oosthuizen who is lurking at -4. But let’s be real, once again it is all about Tiger.

One last stat from Bob Harig, ESPN Senior Golf writer that should set the stage:

This is the 70th time Woods will be tied or within one of the lead entering the final round; he won on 62 of those occasions.

It’s Sunday, he is going to be wearing Red and he is coming for the souls of all the good time, buddy-buddy, let’s all be friends who High 5 when you beat me and go on vacations together imposters to his Throne.

Woods and Snedeker are off at 1:45pm. Conners and Paul Casey (-4) tee it at 1:55pm.

You have been warned.
