The “What could possible go wrong” moment of the day.

One of the main stories when the C’s signed Kyrie Irving was that he is a firm believer that the world is flat.

Well meet “Mad” Mike Hughes! Mad is a 61 year old limo driver who is going to prove to all you ‘science’ believers that this beautiful earth is as flat as the Bruins power play.

Using his 0 years of aeronautical training and mechanical engineering, Mad has built a homemade rocket and launch ramp out of scrap metal. He plans on launching himself 1,800 feet in the air to prove the earth is flat.

Keep in mind most commercial airlines fly around 39,000 feet, but Mike’s 1,800 feet should do the trick!

Honestly, I do not see how any of this could go wrong. Seems to be perfectly thought out plan. I’m not a betting man, but if I was…this would be a guaranteed lock to work.

Odds of ‘Mad” Mike Hughes successful launching himself out of a rocket made of scrap metal to prove the earth is flat 1-1. What makes me even more confident is his quote to the AP, “ I don’t believe in science. I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air. But that’s not science, that’s just a formula”.

Prove them all wrong, Mad!!! We are behind you!
